Heavy fog in Shanghai and Ningbo
Due to the heavy fog in Shanghai and Ningbo since 28 March, all terminals are closed and vessels are delayed very serious in the past week.
The terminal operation is returning to normal slow currently.
This should caused the vessel delay in the other China ports and late arrive to destination.
USA TO AUSTRALIA – BUNKER ADJUSTMENT FACTOR & LOW SULPHUR SURCHARGE
Please be advised the Bunker Adjustment Factor and Low Sulphur Surcharge applied to shipments from the United States to Australia will be revised, effective from the 2nd April 2018:
Adjustment to China Customs Advanced Manifest (CCAM)

Effective 1st June 2018
Please be informed that China Customs has released Order No.56 [2017] to adjust advanced manifest rules. The adjusted rules will be effective on 1 June 2018 and are aimed at progressing China’s national customs integration reforms, strengthening the management of inbound and outbound cargo, and effectively implementing safety entry and risk prevention mechanisms.
Please note in order to meet the advanced manifest deadline, the deadline for submitting your shipping instructions will be 40 hours prior to vessel ETA at load port.
The CCAM adjustments include the following main points:
- Enforce advanced submission of manifest 24 hours prior to loading. Complete and accurate cargo information as carried in the manifest must be submitted to China Customs electronically 24 hours prior to loading onto vessels that sail to/via/out of Chinese mainland ports.
- The manifest must reflect accurately and completely all goods under bills of lading.
- Requested data includes consignor and consignee information such as Company Code and communication number.
