Annual Leave

1. Introduction:

This document sets out the procedures for Annual Leave.

2. Purpose:

The purpose of this procedure is to standardise and meet Award requirements in the provision and taking of Annual leave.

5. Procedure

5.1. To enable sufficient time to plan resources, employees are requested to ensure that they give at least two months notification of leave required to the Branch Manager.

5.2. Notification of leave by employees shall take the form of a completed Leave Application submitted to the Branch Manager.

5.3. Branch Manager is responsible to ensure resources are available so as not to interrupt the flow and timing of work performed whilst the employee is on leave and authorise the Leave Application.

5.4. Branch Manager must communicate approval to the employee and also give the Authorised original Leave Application to payroll department.

5.5. Payroll Department should enter the Authorised leave form paying attention to the Pay in advance option on the form.
